Pamela trained with a top London casino before starting University and then worked as a croupier in the holidays.

She went on to establish a career in event management, with in-house roles for Royal Mail, Save the Children, the Co-op and Autoglass.

Her last position was as National Events Manager for John Lewis, where she managed a national programme of events for all John Lewis and Waitrose stores, and was Festival Director of a family music festival at Knebworth attracting 25,000 visitors.

Pamela established her own event management company in 2001 and Shuffle Casino Hire was born as a natural adjunct to the many events that required the entertainment and excitement professionally run casino tables could bring to her events.

​

Jack is the equipment and logistics coordinator, which primarly involves shifting casino furniture and event props at odd hours and entering unfamiliar postcodes into Google maps.

​

His career in events began when Pamela asked, "Would you mind moving this table, when you have a moment?"  Within weeks he found he had little time to do anything else.

​

His enjoyment of working with clients eventually led him to try his hand at blackjack, first as a substitute, then as a regular, and he is now a popular addition to, and the manager of, our team of croupiers.

​

When not working, Jack enjoys honing his Kenny Rogers impression, and as he continually proves to his sons, he plays a ruthless game of Go Fish.

Twinkie had dreams of becoming an actress. She is now head of accounts.
